King Rod Blagojevich's comments show that he may have totally lost touch with reality, blaming the staggering national economy for approval ratings that have almost slipped into the single digits as he has reigned over one of the most corrupt and ineffective administrations in the history of the state of Illinois.

I do have to ponder though - who ARE those one in 10 citizens of Illinois who think King Rod is doing a good job?  Have they been living abroad?  Did they just relocate here?  Were they in a coma for the past 6 years?

And King Rod continues to live in a state of denial when it comes to the potential of him being indicted for corruption, even though his long-time buddy Tony Rezko is cooperating with the Feds, seeking to keep his sentence to a minimum rather than serve the rest of his life in a pound-him-in-the-ass federal penitentiary.  Good for you Tony, time for the rats to turn on each other and eat their own.

You have to almost admire King Rod for his sheer chutzpah, though, who practically announced that he will be seeking a third term as governor.
